PAIN HURTS!

I once worked in an elementary school. The principal had a wooden paddle hanging on the wall behind his desk; the words PAIN HURTS were burned into the wood. Somewhere out there are some people who think they’re controlling us with the use of pain, people who enjoy inflicting it and who are savoring the results… people who weaken us by instilling fear and separate us by reaching into our private emotions. There has been a time when each of us like has felt like the child standing in front of that paddle, small and scared. I know what pain is. Life has given me my share. I know it grows to fill a space inside, and that it hurts less if that space is filled with three weapons: determination, courage, and strength. I’m not sure I’m armed, but I’m ready to fight back.

I lost an awful lot to GISOL. It’s hard to calculate the value. I lost not only my domain name and my web site, but my web identity and all the good will I’d spent years building. They say that if someone can’t find what they’re looking for on your web site in 7 seconds, they’ll go elsewhere. Well, no one could even find my new web site for quite awhile, and with no way of posting a forwarding address I was no better off than a new business competing among established businesses, many of which were decades newer than my own. There was no reason for GISOL to destroy my domain name except greed; it had an established following and outside links, making it a valuable commodity on the domain resale market. By putting my domain name into their ownership, and then not paying the annual fee, GISOL sent my domain name to the open market and my business into a special kind of hell.

There was no reason except greed to follow up by offering me a half-price “sale” on my hosting service, from $95.40 to just $47…and then make me hostage to a credit card broker to the tune of $1798.20 by forging my signature on a credit slip. Fraud and forgery are not games, they are serious crimes. I intend to pursue GISOL (Global Internet Solutions) as long as necessary in order to bring them to court, to jail, and to their knees for what they have done to me.

I hope, in the process, to stand up for you as well. When this happened to me, I thought I was alone. It’s a very large world, and there are not too many law enforcement agencies out there who are interested in Internet crime, nor are they willing to put their vast powers into play for an just one individual. The credit brokers are even worse. They are not willing to listen to a person report that they have been cheated or robbed. They do not feel it is their responsibility to act in what they feel is the role of law enforcement. For just $1798.20, the GISOL all-inclusive Fraud Special doesn’t give you junk; it doesn’t give you damaged goods, or nothing at all. No, in fact it offers something so great, so wonderful, and so vast that a major sports league would never be able to use it all… a TV network could never use it all…no one person could even begin use it. Unlimited web domains, just think of it… All of us, GISOL’s hundreds of innnocent victims, might together be able to share just one of those huge accounts. My original hosting plan had three domains and 21 subdomains; I was never able to use more than one domain and a few subdomains.

I’ve recently learned that I am not alone…and neither are you. I’m willing to do what I can, and to work with others who are volunteering their time to try to prove this world-wide scam is affecting hundreds of us, to put these people behind bars, and hopefully to obtain reimbursement for all of us. It may be difficult to get our money back, and much as that hurts each of us, I think we’ll all agree that there will be a good deal of satisfaction in seeing the GISOL people brought to justice anyway. In order for us to help you, we need you to help us. The more people we have actively on our side, the more names we can add to our victims’ roster, the more attention we will be able to demand. The more information each victim can provide, the more evidence we can gather, the more justice we will be able to demand. When the times comes for a class action law suit, the better we are able to pay a lawyer to pursue our cause in court, the more restitution we will be able to demand.

Please remember one thing. No matter what excuses GISOL gave you or the name of the blame they dumped on you, you did NOT make a mistake. You did NOT misunderstand. You were NOT fooled; you were swindled. There’s a big difference. If they copied your signature, that is forgery, and forgery is a crime. The way your money was obtained is fraud. You were offered one program and another was substituted…and no matter how wonderful that substitution looks at a casual glance, it’s not what you were promised, nor is it something you can use. These are two different crimes. Some of you experienced one; some, both. In addition, some of you lost your domain name as I did, and possibly your business or your savings.

All of us, to the very last person, apparently paid with a credit card. The bankers and credit brokers were fooled, tricked by a scheme to make it look like we received value for payment, tricked by the fact that each of us initially agreed to a small purchase. And to cover up for their own ignorance, they’re saying they’re not responsible, that they are neither obligated to look at evidence nor sworn to protect the financial integrity of their clients. We fought the credit brokers, and we lost. We were robbed, and the credit card companies abetted the criminals by applying their lax application of an outmoded standard for determining the value and by ignoring our explanations and our proof, just as GISOL knew they would and could counted on them to do.

Thank you for finding us. Please contact me at 4one4all [at] gmail [dot] com. Or respond to the main web site at www.report-gisol.com . It might help to write your US Senators and Congressmen. Be sure to write to the Attorney General of the state where you live. They will listen…protecting their own citizens matters to them and they are your best and most direct source of assistance and advice under the Consumer Protection Act. Check out the on-line complaint sites for the Postmaster General, the FBI and White Collar Crime Unit’s Internet Crime Form, or the Federal Trade Commission. (They all go to the same place, so pick the one that best fits your situation.)

Remember the three weapons: determination, courage, and strength. They’re made from the power of joining forces to fight together. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Poem: Invictus

(taking responsibility for one’s destiny)

Invictus

by William Ernest Henley 1849-1903
Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstanceI have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the horror of the
shade,
And

We are trying to get everyone to report this scheme, which often involves forging our signatures to a false credit charge. The interest on this false charge is often nearly as much as the original amount, and the credit card companies are dragging their feet about helping us stop the scam. Continue reading
We’re all dreaming of the day when GISOL will no longer exist, when the smooth-talking ‘gentleman’ who so glibly lured us into a reduced price, a sale, or a special offer is reduced to making license plates and the hands that transfered our signatures from the service contract to a fake credit card authorization are making hash marks on the wall of his cell to count the hopefully endless days until he’s released. But what about getting our money back? Do we have any recourse? The answer is Continue reading
